TabTrade Broker Review - The Good and the Catch

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should factor into your decision.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
